Digital Photography Teacher (Richmond / Point / Annex)

The EAST BAY CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS is looking for a Digital Photography instructor for their after-school programs in West Contra Costa Unified School District (Richmond, San Pablo, El Sobrante).

POSITION: Digital Photography teacher

REPORTS TO: Outreach Manager

HOURS: One or two afternoons per week, Monday-Friday, 1-2 hours each

SALARY: $35 per hour of instruction, $15.00 per hour for prep and staff meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years teaching experience, which should include working with children and youth of all ages. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a culturally and economically diverse population and will possess excellent classroom management skills. He or she must be reliable, an excellent communicator and willing to collaborate with other artists and educators.
